Saturday, May 10
Mother’s Day Floral Pop-Up (10 a.m.)
Hana Floral will be at Rally in Queen Village, so grab coffee, some pastries from fellow pop-up Manna Bakery, and make your own flower arrangement for the maternal figure in your life.
Mother’s Day Brunch (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
For $45 per person, enjoy shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, and other brunch dishes in Germantown, while also browsing vendors and praise dance selections, visit elegant photo stations, and try for giveaways.
2nd Annual Mother’s Day Shopping Stroll (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
Northern Liberties kicks off Mother’s Day weekend with a neighborhood stroll full of deals, sidewalk sales and one-of-a-kind finds from local shop favorites. The stroll offers quality time and last-minute gifts aplenty, along with restaurant specials for moms and mother figures.
Autism REC Mother’s Day Celebration Brunch (1 to 3 p.m.)
This event is dedicated to celebrating all the amazing mother figures in the autism community. Tickets range from $10 to $25.
Harp & Crown Saturday Brunch Buffet (various times)
Brunch buffets can still be found in Philly, and Harp & Crown’s is one of the most popular. For $38 per person, not including cocktails, treat mom and yourself on any weekend — although Saturday openings are still available for Mother’s Day Weekend.
Mother’s Touch Pre-Mother’s Day Shows (6 p.m. and 9 p.m.)
Live music is on tap at Bookers Restaurant and Bar in West Philly, where, for $110 per person, you can get a live show and three-course dinner that includes lamb and short rib.

Philadelphia Zoo Mother’s Day Brunch (10 a.m. and 1 p.m.)
Families of all species can celebrate their mothers at the Philly Zoo, where an $84 ticket gets each person admission to all exhibits for the day, plus a guided walk-through and bird-feeding tour, raffles and a brunch buffet that includes steak and eggs, pancakes, frittatas, pastries, plenty of non-alcoholic beverages and cocktails available for purchase. Seating can accommodate up to eight people per table.
Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
Celebrate Pennsylvania Dutch influences at this afternoon tea service, courtesy of Fishtown Chef Adam Diltz’s Elwood, where he combines British tea and Pennsylvania Dutch traditions, for $35 per person.
Mother’s Day Signature Brunch Buffet Cruise (10 a.m. to 12 p.m.)
These classic Philly cruises combine a staycation with taking in the sights along the Delaware River. There are morning and afternoon cruise slots available on the day, and includes a brunch buffet, unlimited mimosas and live entertainment. Prices start at $97.
Mother’s Day Weekend at the Museum of the American Revolution and Amada
For the history buffs who didn’t fall far from the tree, go together to learn about the diverse women who played vital, often unsung roles on the home front and with armies on campaign during the Revolutionary War. There’s no gamble involved at Live! Casino’s brunch buffet, which includes a build-your-own omelette station, French toast, cocktail station, complimentary cupcakes, rose flights and more, for $80 per person.
Mother’s Day Extra: The Art of Making Alfajores & Brunch (11 a.m.)
For a more hands-on experience, make Argentinian alfajores together at Jezabel’s in University City before then enjoying tea sandwiches, pastries and more. The class and meal are $100 per person.
Blooms & Bubbles: A Mother’s Day Workshop (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
Enjoy a creative and fun-filled day at Glen Foerd, making elaborate flower crowns and building a cake treat with guidance from Mallory Valvano of Party Girl Bake Club. Choose your own toppings and enjoy them along with a mimosa. Tickets are $60.
Boots on the Ground Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
Whether you want just brunch ($40) or brunch plus a margarita tower ($65) or mimosa tower ($60), this fun event definitely offers a unique experience in Germantown for the day.
Mother’s Day Wine Garden Brunch (12 to 3 p.m.)
Dress to impress at this event hosted at the Navy Yard by the Wine Garden’s mother-daughter duo. Live Jazz Mother’s Day Brunch Featuring John G. Coley Quartet & Vanessa (12:30 to 4 p.m.)
The Tindley Tea Cafe on Broad Street hosts this afternoon of jazz music and endless brunch with your favorite tea or coffee. $20 for children, $40 for adults.
S&S Decorś 4th Annual Mother’s Day Brunch (1 to 4:30 p.m.)
Head to South Philly for this toast to the women in our life, complete with food, prizes (think designer sunglasses, furniture or a gift basket), and a social hour. $90 per person.
Paint and Sip Mother’s Day Brunch (3 to 6 p.m.)
Let mom or grandma sleep in and then do a late lunch/early dinner over paints in Germantown! $50 tickets include brunch and drinks, while $75 tickets includes the same plus a gift bag and cocktail bar.
South Jazz Kitchen Jazz and 3-Course Menu (2 p.m., 4:45 p.m. and 7 p.m.)
This popular North Broad Street restaurant will host a one-hour jazz set featuring Warren Oree’s Arpeggio Jazz Ensemble, plus a three-course menu on the holiday, over three $75 seatings from early afternoon to evening.
