The Sindh government has officially announced public holidays on December 25 and 26, 2023, in honor of Pakistan’s founder, Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, and Christmas.

The Chief Secretary has issued a notification, designating December 26, 2023, as a public holiday specifically for Christians to observe the day following their annual festival.

Notably, entities involved in essential services are exempt from this arrangement. The Department of Services, General Administration, and Co-ordination has issued an official notification to communicate these holiday arrangements.
