Elon Musk’s daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, has dropped some serious accusations, claiming her father has treated her gender as if it were a business deal. The 20-year-old, who has been publicly estranged from the tech giant for quite some time, alleged that he essentially paid to have her identified as male at birth.
Vivian, along with her twin brother Griffin, was born during Elon Musk’s marriage to Canadian author Justine Wilson. She’s spoken out about her relationship with her father before, but recently she took things further by claiming he paid to ensure she was designated male at birth.
“My assigned sex at birth was a commodity that was bought and paid for,”
she posted on Threads this week.
She implied that being transgender conflicted with what her father expected based on that payment.
“So when I was feminine as a child and then turned out to be transgender, I was going against the product that was sold,”
she said.
“That expectation of masculinity that I had to fight against my whole life was essentially a monetary transaction. A monetary transaction. A MONETARY TRANSACTION,”
Vivian emphasized.
She also questioned how something like this could be legal.
While Musk hasn’t responded to Wilson’s allegations, the two appear to have a very strained relationship, especially after his hurtful remarks regarding her transition.
Last year, Elon, who has about a dozen kids, mentioned Vivian and claimed he was “tricked into signing documents” to provide puberty blockers to his transgender daughter. He referred to “gender-affirming care” as a “terrible euphemism” and called puberty blockers “sterilization drugs.” “I essentially lost my son.
They call it deadnaming for a reason,” he remarked in a controversial interview with Dr. Jordan Peterson. He added,
“The reason it’s called deadnaming is because your son is dead … killed by the woke mind virus.”
Shortly after the interview in July, Vivian responded, saying her father was lying.
“If you’re going to lie about me in front of millions, I’m not just gonna let that slide,”
she stated. She recounted instances where he would harshly criticize her for being feminine and insisted she speak with a deeper voice when she was younger. “He would constantly yell at me because my voice was too high,” she remembered. “It was cruel.”
