NEPRA, the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority, granted approval on Thursday for a per-unit electricity cost increase of Rs. 1.52 for K-Electric consumers.

The tariff hike has been sanctioned by NEPRA in alignment with the federal government’s request, and its official implementation awaits a formal notification following approval by the federal cabinet.
