Artsapalooza returns to Sandy Springs on Easter weekend, featuring more than 150 artists and an Easter egg hunt with more than 10,000 hidden eggs.
Sandy Springs Artsapalooza will be held on Saturday, April 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Easter Sunday, April 20, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metal craft makers, glass blowers, jewelers and more will be on hand at 6100 Lake Forest Drive, a half mile from City Springs.
The Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces-sponsored event will give festival-goers the chance to view artist demonstrations, participate in hands-on art activities, and enjoy music. The event features a children’s area and food trucks, and beverages for all tastes.
What organizers bill as the largest Easter egg hunt in Sandy Springs starts at 2 p.m. on Easter Sunday. Kids are asked to arrive early with a small bag or basket to collect some of the more than 10,000 hidden eggs.
The festival is free, open to all ages, and dogs are welcome. The event will take place rain or shine.
